We are so excited to have Cassie join our team! Cassie has double duty as a lice tech and our social media manager. We are very lucky to have her!
Bob has now joined our team of certified lice experts, as a lice technician. He began as IT tech support for us, and we taught him how to treat lice as a lice treatment technician. We love him, and so will you!
When Lola was a junior at Huntington Beach High School, she went by herself to a refugee area in San Jose Costa Rica. Using her high school Spanish, she taught a group of volunteers how to become experts, how to check and treat lice. We continue her project, including things like 15 minute tutorials in Spanish and Vietnamese at SchoolOfLilce.com. This enables volunteers at group homes, orphanages, and clinics to learn how to confidently treat kids and teens. We continue this as a self -funded (not a non-profit) labor of love. Our next trip will be to an orphanage called Casa de Hogar in Jalisco, Mexico. We are VERY excited about that!
In 2017, Pam's daughter Lola set up a program to teach volunteers at a Nicaraguan refugee area in Costa Rica how to become experts and treat lice. as part of her Girl Scout Gold Award (Equivalent to Eagle Scout). Here is her short video. This started Project HOPE - a self-funded passion project for Pam & Lola/Picky Pam at the Beach. Thanks for watching!

On Saturday May 14, 2022 Pam took a bunch of Coco Loco Nit Kits to donate to a community outreach program called "L.O.T.S" (Life On The Streets), sponsored by The Crossing Church in Costa Mesa, CA. The event provides free services such as haircuts, laundry, clothing, etc. and is open to everyone in the community. Pam's friend Brittany is a professional hair stylist and donates her time for much needed haircuts. It is a great program - we are happy to help!

Lice experts Lola & Pam checked 60 beautiful angels at Nikki's Place (Agape Home), over 2 days. We treated 40 for lice (that is A LOT!) Our goal it to treat lice naturally, and educate staff. Here is a one minute overview of how we did it quickly & efficiently.
As part of her Girl Scout Gold Award (equivalent to Eagle Scout), Lola committed to establishing a 'lice comb recycling program' for head lice experts to donate their used combs to treat lice. Through our Project HOPE, we will sanitize them and put them into 'treatment kits' for homeless programs, shelters, & orphanages.
Pam was a Girl Scout Leader for Lola's troop from Kindergarten through Senior year at HBHS. We hope Lola Gold Award Project will inspire other young women to make a difference! What Lola started in 2017, will continue on for YEARS to come. Girl Scouts call it "The Power of One". Lola hopes to create more volunteer lice experts and teach people world wide how to treat lice naturally.
